Love & Lockdown

 In these long and lonely days,

Where life feels like a dream,

It's love that keeps us strong,

A light in the darkest scene.

Though we may be apart,

Our love connects us still,

And in our hearts we hold,

The promise of our will.

To stay together in spirit,

To weather this storm as one,

To hold fast to the belief,

That soon the day will come.

When we'll be reunited,

And in each other's arms,

We'll feel the joy of love,

And bask in its sweet charms.

For love is not confined,

By distance or by time,

It is the constant force,

That helps our hearts to climb.

Above the trials of life,

And the sorrows that it brings,

It is the bond that we share,

That makes our hearts sing.

Through lockdown's darkened days,
